The Arena placed 11th in the United States and 22nd in the world.
AmericanAirlines Arena earned its ranking by selling 653,906 tickets throughout 2018; a number that surpasses last year’s total by nearly 30,000 tickets.
“We’re so proud of and humbled by the support of every single guest who visits the Arena and contributes to our ongoing success,” said Jarred Diamond, Executive Vice President and General Manager of AmericanAirlines Arena. “We are dedicated to maintaining our status as the top sports and entertainment facility in the state.”
Last year, AmericanAirlines Arena featured a lineup of megastars, such as Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Marc Anthony, Drake, Ozuna, Shakira Romeo Santos, The Killers, Bad Bunny, Sam Smith, Travis Scott, J Balvin, Maluma, among many others. The Arena also welcomed recurring events including iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, Univision’s Premio Lo Nuestro Award Show and the Hoophall Miami Invitational, to name a few. In addition, AmericanAirlines Arena is home to family shows such as Cirque du Soleil, WWE and Disney On Ice.
