AMERICANAIRLINES ARENA ANNOUNCES LINEUP OF THE BEST IN LIVE LATIN ENTERTAINMENT

                      Feel the Heat as the Top Acts in Latin Entertainment Come to
                                  South Florida, Only at the AmericanAirlines Arena

MIAMI, FL – May 4, 2011 – The AmericanAirlines Arena, Miami’s top sports and entertainment venue, announced today a lineup of the biggest names in Latin entertainment. From Maná and Luis Miguel, to Wisin & Yandel and Juanes, AmericanAirlines Arena is hosting seven of the industry’s hottest Latin sensations throughout the spring, summer and fall.

The announcement was made by Mike Walker, AmericanAirlines Arena’s Executive Vice President of HEAT Group Enterprises. According to Walker, this lineup of Latin mega-stars confirms AmericanAirlines Arena’s standing as the premiere venue in South Florida for top Latin performers to come and play, and for fans to experience a diverse array of world-renowned performers. “With the arena’s unbeatable location at the center of vibrant and eclectic downtown Miami, its constant hosting of the world’s best performers, and its reputation as Miami’s number one entertainment destination, it’s no surprise that AmericanAirlines Arena is the only place in South Florida for fans to see this group of chart-topping, record-breaking Latin artists,” said Walker. “Miami is a fun and sexy city, making the arena the perfect venue for these sizzling and ultra-talented performers.”

Since it’s opening in 1999, AmericanAirlines Arena has hosted over 90 Latin performers including Marc Anthony, Shakira, Maná and Luis Miquel, among others. Several of these superstars have performed at the arena multiple times, with more than 1,000,000 people attending these shows over the past 12 years.

The lineup begins with Camilo Sesto on May 14, followed by Luis Miguel, Wisin & Yandel, Marcos Witt, and Maná.

Camilo Sesto – May 14, 2011 – 8:00PM
Spanish singer, composer and producer Camilo Sesto was the most prominent male voice of Spanish pop music during the 1970s and the 1980s. He became famous for his powerful, carefully arranged ballads, pop and rock, and has sold more than 175 million albums worldwide.

Luis Miguel – May 19, 2011 – 8:00PM & May 21, 2011 – 8:30PM
Mexican sensation Luis Miguel is one of the most beloved and successful International artists since the 1990's with his exceptional live performances and top selling albums. Often referred to as "El Sol de México" (The Sun of Mexico), Luis Miguel has won four Latin Grammy Awards and five Grammy Awards, and has earned 34 platinum records throughout South and Central America.

Wisin & Yandel “Los Vaqueros: El Regreso 2011” Tour – June 3, 2011 – 8:00PM
Top-selling Latin artists and Grammy award winning duo Wisin & Yandel began their career together more than ten years ago in their native Puerto Rico within the Latin music genre Reggaeton. Wisin & Yandel have set themselves apart from the crowd by creating their own brand of Latin Urban/Popular music and continually raising the bar for themselves and the industry with each musical production. In the past five years, Wisin & Yandel have accumulated an impressive record-breaking 11 Platinum Album Awards in the United States as well as 10 Platinum Album Awards and 8 Gold Album Awards across Latin America.

Marcos Witt “25 Concierto Conmemorativo - La Gira” – June 24, 2011 – 8:00PM
La Nueva 88.3 FM brings four-time Latin Grammy Award-winning Christian singer Marcos Witt to AmericanAirlines Arena for the first stop on his iconic Spanish Contemporary Gospel music tour. For this particular concert, Marcos Witt will share the stage with legendary Christian singer Alex Campos and his “Lenguaje de Amore” tour. For the “25 Concierto Conmemorativo – La Gira” show, these two unique artists will unite for the first time in Miami to deliver a world class concert, and to celebrate God’s power through music.

Maná “Drama y Luz” Tour – July 7, 2011 – 8:00PM
Popular Mexican rock band Maná returns to Miami to perform songs from their chart topping new album, Drama Y Luz. After many years away from the stage, the group whose career has spanned more than three decades couldn’t be more excited for their comeback tour. They have earned three Grammy Awards, five Latin Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards Latin America, four Premios Juventud awards, nine Billboard Latin Music Awards and 13 Premios Lo Nuestro awards. Their sound has been described as drawing on pop rock, Latin pop, calypso, reggae and ska. They initially received international commercial success in Australia and Spain and have since gained popularity and exposure in the United States, Western Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Their worldwide sales stand at more than 25 million albums as of 2011.
