Arena Finishes In Top 10 Arenas in the USA & 28th in the World
MIAMI – AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the 2006 and 2012 NBA Champion Miami HEAT, continues to maintain its position as the #1 Arena in Florida and finished in the Top 10 Arenas in the USA, while placing 28th in the World according to Pollstar’s “Year-End Top 200 Arenas Worldwide.”
AmericanAirlines Arena earned its lead ranking by selling over 370,000 tickets year to date for a variety of concerts, family shows and other special events. Executive Vice President of HEAT Group Enterprises Mike Walker attributes these ticket sales to the venue’s ability to draw world class performers.
The quality lineup of acts that AmericanAirlines Arena presents continues to draw fans to South Florida’s Waterfront Showplace. “The caliber of performers that choose to play here combined with the world-class entertainment experience that only AmericanAirlines Arena can offer, is what allows us to maintain our position as the #1 ranked arena in the state,” said Jarred Diamond, Vice President of Programming.
