The Waterfront Theatre at AmericanAirlines Arena
The Waterfront Theatre, located within AmericanAirlines Arena offers an intimate theatre setting to accommodate a variety of public and private events.
This 1,000–5,800 seat venue can be used for concerts, comedy shows, boxing events, private performances, dinner theatre and large general session, just to name a few. It comes complete with a ceiling-to-floor acoustic curtain, proscenium stage, theatrical lighting, carpeted aisles and chandeliers.
The AmericanAirlines Arena offers one stop shop event planning. Full service event coordination, in-house audiovisual technical support and standard equipment are just some of the benefits of hosting an event at the Waterfront Theatre.
Special Features of the Waterfront Theatre
The Waterfront Theatre offers inclusive packages designed for your convenience. Facility fees and basic operational requirements are included in event packages with the option of adding production upgrades, stagehands and catering. Since the Theatre is a premiere state-of-the art concert facility, our professional coordination team has the experience to assist you in all aspects of developing, marketing and executing your special event, to ensure the best rate of return. Listed below are all services and equipment included in the fee.

Business Theatre: General Session and Training Seminars
Training presentations are not only educational, but entertaining in this comfortable and intimate Theatre setting. The design of the theatre spotlights the speaker for maximum effectiveness in a “cool setting.” The venue can accommodate up to 3,000 seats in the lower bowl and go up to 5,800 by utilizing upper deck seating. The perimeter curtaining system makes for an intimate setting and enhances sound quality. Allow our event team to assist in coordinating a flawless power point, IMAG or video presentation. Multiple concession stands on the concourse make for a convenient break time location for networking and a quick bite before heading back to business.
Dinner Theatre: Awards Banquet or Private Speaker Presentation
Enhance your next Awards Banquet into a Dinner Theatre experience at the home of the 2003 Latin Grammy’s. The Arena floor can be transformed into an intimate dining room, in an intimate theater. Your guests will feel like celebrities as they view your presentation or entertainment on the proscenium stage. Allow our award winning audiovisual technical team to videotape the presentation and add excitement to the show with special effects. Party Suites facing the stage are also available for 20 - 120 guests.
